Financial reasons: Chloe Madeley has revealed she went back to work just eight weeks after giving birth to her five-month-old daughter Bodhi because she needed the money.
Elsewhere in the interview, Chloe opened up about the domestic dynamics of her and her husband, and James said from the start that his career came first.
She explained, "James told me early on, 'I'm not going to slow down my career. He told me: “I'm really motivated by the work. I am motivated by finances. I'm definitely with you, but I'm not slowing down, so don't expect a stay-at-home parent anytime because I won't." I said, 'fair enough.'
She added that when James is home with her and the baby, he is "amazing" and she is "grateful."
It comes after Chloer revealed her five-month-old baby was hospitalized twice in one week amid fears he had contracted meningitis or sepsis.

She continued: "Her temperature went from 39.8 on Saturday morning to 34 on Sunday evening so she was extremely concerned about meningitis and sepsis but the blood tests show it's just the type A flu virus
"I'm just saying, wow, it didn't feel good. Has anyone else had a temperature this low in their child with the flu virus? I'm still a bit confused as to how/why this happened.

"I am also amazed at how much it has affected my sleep and workload and how difficult the last 5 days have been.

She said on the Made by Mammas podcast, "It's been hard enough getting back into the groove of a good, healthy sex life and I can't figure out if it's me, it's him, or if it's both of us." I'll say it's the latter, we're both.
"I just feel like I'm not really in a very sexual headspace right now. I hope you come back I don't think he is either. Let's hope things get back to normal.
Chloe, the daughter of Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, has spoken at length about her sex life with former 6ft 3in flanker James in the past.
Former England rugby star James, who admits to having slept with 1,000 women in the past, has previously said he "regards sex as a competitive sport".
He previously told The Sun: "In the end, I take everything very seriously. But I mean, you want to be good at sex, right? I'm not sure if I'm very good at it, but I'm doing well and trying to get better. There are a lot of people out there who have a lot of bad sex. I want to improve it.'
'I'm not in a sexual state of mind, neither is he': Chloe admitted that she and her once riotous husband James have 'found it difficult to be intimate' since birth.
Chloe also admitted lockdown had had a detrimental effect on her once riotous sex life due to work stress and slow pace.
She told The Sun at the time: "Our sex life took a nosedive and dried up completely in lockdown and we had to work our way back up, no pun intended.
"I was surprised because James and I have always been very sexually compatible and I always assumed those breaks would never happen to us."
She noted that James developed a taste for afternoon sex after being too tired at night, which he didn't sit well with.
Chloe's words come as she admitted she had hoped to divorce James after he booked a DJ gig on her birth date and then dumped her for eight straight nights this week.
Oh! Richard Madeley looked every inch the doting grandfather as his family enjoyed a Boxing Day lunch together.
Personal trainer and TV presenter Chloe said she went to bed on her due date hating her husband but five months later he happily redeemed himself from birth.
When asked what unexpected thing about motherhood surprised her, she said, "What an incredible importance James had." He's the best with her. I watch it with her and I'm so relieved.
"Because I don't want to lie, James booked a DJ gig with Carl Cox in my third term. And I understand it's Carl Cox, but he booked a DJ gig with Carl Cox on my due date - "but it's my due date!"
"At the time, I can't lie to you, I was lying in bed on my due date while James was DJing at The Ned with Carl Cox and I was like, 'Well, I've just picked the wrong person so far. Baby with and this is going to be hell, we're getting divorced in a year, I absolutely hate him, deh, deh, deh, deh, deh.
